Toddler Program (1–2 Years)

We have a toddler program at the Washington Bright’s Childcare compound that ensures the fast growth and development of children at a tender age. At this age, toddlers are inquisitive and energetic, and our program is designed to build curiosity with energy and enable physical, emotional and social development.

Our emphasis is on play-based learning, where we put a lot of emphasis on letting the children learn by touching and interacting with the environment through activities such as building blocks, sensory play, and creative arts. These are activities that enhance motor skills, coordination and earlier language development, and also the enhancement of cognitive abilities. Moreover, our program promotes the social aspect of it because our program teaches the child to share, express feelings and be able to interact positively with others. Our caregivers ensure to maintain a friendly environment, in which children are comfortable to explore, learn and communicate with their peers.

Our priority is building independence and solving problems, which makes the toddler grow and behave the way they feel in a safe environment. We also value the importance of routine and consistency, and ensure toddlers develop a feeling of trust and security. We strive to get toddlers ready to proceed to the next level of their learning through the enhancement of creativity, confidence, and emotional development.
